If you've obtained a digital signature for your client's tax return, whether on-screen at the e-file Submission step, or via the TaxesToGo mobile app or Customer Portal, you can control whether or not it prints on Form 1040.
To choose whether or not to print the taxpayer's (and your) digital signature on Form 1040 in TaxSlayer ProWeb, from the Welcome page select:
- Configuration
- Office Setup
- Print Digital Signatures on 1040 - Check or uncheck the box as desired.
Note that digital signatures cannot be removed from Form 8879 if the return is marked for electronic filing.
