Reject Code: F1040-470
If Form RRB 1042-S, 'SSN' or Form SSA 1042-S, 'SSN' is the same as 'PrimarySSN' in the Return Header, then a binary attachment with Description "Green Card" must be present in the return.
When an individual federal resident income tax return (Form 1040) includes retirement income reported on Form RRB-1042-S or Form SSA-1042-S, the return needs to include a PDF copy of the recipient's green card, i.e., Form I-551, Permanent Residence Card.
To correct Reject Code F1040-470 in the individual income tax return in TaxSlayer Pro, from the main menu of the return (Form 1040) select:
- Income
- Social Security Benefits
- Attach Green Card PDFs - Select New, navigate to where the PDF is saved, and select it.
