TaxSlayer ProWeb allows the company administrator to set up return tags to aid in managing clients. Return tags help track and sort returns in the company and office client list. Once a return has been assigned a return tag, the tag icon within the client list will be blue rather than grayed out, signifying a tag has been assigned to the return.
Note: Tag Templates can only be configured at the Company Level for a multi-office setup. The individual offices will not be able to create tags in their office configuration.
Setting up Return Tags
In TaxSlayer ProWeb you can create a return tag for anything your office wants tracked. To set up custom return tags, from the welcome page select:
- Company Configuration
- Tag Templates
- Add Tag Template - Enter the name of the Tag Template
- Return Tags - Enter the Tag Name and select Add Tag and Save
After the Tag Template has been created, it can then be assigned to users from the Tag Template Menu.
The Template can be assigned to a group or separate offices.
