The IRS has announced that the Modernized e-File System will re-open for Business Tax Returns starting at 9:00 a.m. on January 7, 2022.
As of January 7, 2022 TaxSlayer Pro has not opened our servers for business e-file, including prior year business returns.
It is anticipated that TaxSlayer Pro will open electronic filing for business returns sometime during the week of January 10, 2022. We will post another message in the Message Center when we begin processing business returns.
Note: When TaxSlayer Pro begins processing business returns, not all states will be approved for electronic filing. These states will contain an e-file block in the state electronic filing menu until we receive final approval from the state.
Additionally, forms that are not approved for mailing purposes will contain a DO NOT MAIL watermark. This will not affect e-filing for these state forms. As we receive approvals from the states on each form, the watermarks will be removed and these changes will be released in the Update Utility as business state updates.
