If you cannot change Offer Pre-Ack Advances and/or Offer Advances to Yes in the Configuration > Bank Setup Menu, verify the following:
1. Has the bank approved your EFIN to offer Pre-Ack Advances and Advances? This can be verified by logging in to Account Hub and checking the approval status on the Bank Information Tile. If you are approved to offer Pre-Ack Advances, you will see Advances and Pre-Ack Available. If you only see Advances Available, the bank has not sent an approval for your EFIN to offer Pre-Ack Advances.
2. Are you connected to the internet? The program contacts the TaxSlayer Pro servers when you enter the bank setup menu. If this web call isn't successful, the options in the Bank Setup Menu will not change.
3. Have you entered the correct EFIN in the transmitter's EFIN field? Double check by selecting Configuration > Electronic Filing / Bank Setup > Transmitter's EFIN.
4. You may be approved, but the bank may require you to opt in to offering pre-ack advances and advances. Log in to your bank's portal to ensure you are opted in.
