In order for the Mobile App to be branded, the taxpayer will need to start on the Referral Link Website from your Account Hub. Unfortunately, once the account has been created, there isn’t a way to switch the account from generic to branded.
Between the generic and branded apps, only the process of claiming the app is different. The app functionality is the same, and the process of preparing the tax return is the same. If the taxpayer wishes to see the branded app, they will need to uninstall the app and create a new account with your referral link using a different email address.
