The Premium edition of TaxSlayer Pro includes a number of additional features over the Classic edition. Here is a brief overview of the additional features of TaxSlayer Pro Premium.
The Business package includes tax and information returns for the following entities:
- Corporation - Forms 1120 and 1120-H.
- S Corporation - Form 1120-S.
- Partnership - Form 1065.
- Estate and Trust - Form 1041.
- Exempt Organization - Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T, along with the ability to file a small organization's annual return on Form 990-N.
- Estate Tax - Form 706.
- Gift Tax - Form 709.
Tax preparation businesses must exercise due diligence in managing and storing documents with personally identifiable information. TaxSlayer Pro Premium includes a document management system called Paper Cut. Using Paper Cut, you can move towards a paperless office where paper and digital documents are woven together in an efficient, cost-effective, and easy-to-use format that will revolutionize the way you run your tax business. Depending on the volume of your existing paper records, it may not be cost effective to digitize older files, but you can start fresh by printing to PDF instead of paper.
Paper Cut streamlines work flow and reduces costs associated with most tax preparation offices, such as printing, mailing, and storing paper. It also saves you time looking for tax returns lost in the shuffle. Paper Cut provides the option to scan and save all your client’s documents such as Forms W-2 and 1099s along with and forms of ID and handwritten notes.
With Paper Cut you also eliminate the need to print e-file reports to paper (Transmission Confirmation, Acknowledgements, and Bank Reports). Paper Cut also saves on printing by allowing you to e-mail your client an encrypted copy of their tax return.

The Customer Portal is a secure method for you and your client to exchange documents. Your client can send copies of tax documents, identification, and other paperwork, and you can send them a copy of their return for their signature.

TaxesToGo is our mobile app that your client can use to send images of their tax documents, identification, and other paperwork from their smartphone. You can apply your own branding to the app, and when a client uses your branded app, starting their return is done in just a few clicks.
You and your client can also use the app to chat, and you can send them a copy of their return for their signature.

While working in their return, you can scan things such as your client's driver's license, tax documents, child custody information, etc., into Paper Cut.
TaxSlayer Pro Premium supports two models of signature pads to capture preparer and client signatures to print on the forms that support a digital signature. Thus, your clients can sign once and their signature will be applied to the federal (and state, when supported) e-file signature authorization form and all pages of bank product documentation.

Twilio is a third-party subscription messaging service that can be integrated into TaxSlayer Pro, allowing you to communicate with your clients by text message without leaving the program.

2D Barcode Scanning
For your clients with W-2s that include a 2D barcode, you can capture and automatically fill in the date in their return using the Motorola model DS6707 handheld scanner. Scanning in W-2s speeds data entry and reduces errors.
