If you use TaxSlayer Pro, there are two ways to access Client Status to find out why a tax return was rejected by the IRS or the state taxing authority.
If you are in front of your computer, access Client Status in TaxSlayer Pro:
Click the Icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen
In the Quick Menu select Client Status

You can also access Client Status anywhere you are through your Account Hub.
- Log into Account Hub here.
- Click the 9-square App Switcher menu in the top right corner of the page next to your Account Hub username, then select Client Status:
- At the Client Status website, click Lookup Tax Returns.
- Enter your EFIN and last four digits of the SSN in the fields provided.
