In order to e-file multiple state returns, you will need to make sure you have each state marked for electronic filing. This is done from within each state return. Once you have each state marked for e-file, and have marked the return as complete and ready for transmission, the return will automatically pull to the transmission table. Transmit the return as you normally would. The state returns are transmitted only after the federal return has been accepted. Be sure to allow adequate time near the filing deadlines for the federal return to be accepted and the states to then be sent to be processed.
NOTE: The transmission table only has room to show one state to be transmitted. To make sure each state return was e-filed, print the Returns to be Transmitted report before you transmit the return. Your confirmation report will NOT list the additional states.
