- Configuration
- Configuration Utilities
- Copy Configuration to Disk
- In the Windows Explorer window, navigate to the portable drive
- Provide a file name, then select OK
On the new computer:
- Log in to Account Hub at the TaxSlayer Pro website and download TaxSlayer Pro.
- Run the TaxSlayer Pro installation file that downloaded to install the program.
- Start the program to begin the initial configuration. If the prior year of TaxSlayer Pro exists, the configuration process will draw on last year's information, querying you at each step about pulling it forward. - In the Windows Explorer window, navigate to the portable drive and double-click the file you created above.
- You will be asked to select which components you would like to restore. Check the check box next to each category that you would like to restore, or select Check All, and then Ok.
