To edit the Cover Page that prints with the tax return, from the Main Menu of TaxSlayer Pro select:
- Configuration
- Printer/Copies Setup
- Edit the Cover Page
After making changes to the Cover Page, you can preview the page to ensure it looks the way you want.
To specify whether you want the cover page to print with your tax returns, you must edit your individual or business print options. See Additional Information articles below.
Print Border on the Cover Page
When set to YES, a border will print around the outside of the Cover Page.
Print Firm Information on the Cover Page.
When set to YES the firm's name, address, office phone number, and office fax number will print on the cover page.
Start Printing Client Info on Row
Choose the row and column of the page you would like the taxpayer's information to begin printing on.
Start Printing Firm Info on Row
Choose the row and column of the page you would like the firm's information to begin printing on.
Firm Information to Print on Cover Page
Customize the firm information you would like to print on the cover page.
Row Tax Year Appears On
Choose the row of the page you would like the tax year to print on.
Print Notes on the Cover Page
When set to YES, this option allows you to enter a note to print on the cover page.
- Notes to Print on the Cover Page
Enter the note you would like to print on the cover page (maximum four lines). - Start Printing Notes on Row
Choose the row of the page you would like the note to begin printing on.
Reset The Cover Page To Default.
Select to revert back to the original, default Cover Page.
Print/View Test Cover Page
After making changes to the Cover Page, select this to view the changes to ensure the page looks like what you want.
