If you find yourself not able to login to your ProWeb program, please use these tips to regain access:
- Has your ProWeb account been created yet? If you are new to TaxSlayer Pro, you will need to create your online ProWeb login through your Account Hub. For guidance on doing this, read how to create your ProWeb Account here.
- Is your Username and/or Password correct? A forgotten or mistyped username or password is the most common reason that someone cannot access their account. It is always wise to select Forgot Username and/or Forgot Password to ensure you are using the correct combination.
- Is your Username not marked as "Active" in the Preparer Menu? If you see a message that your username is not active or has been disabled, first you should see if there is anyone else in your office who can log in, navigate to the Preparer Menu, and check the Active check box again. If no one in your office has access to the program, or you are the only one in your office, you will need to contact TaxSlayer Pro Support. We can help you gain access to your program again.
- Are you on the correct website? If the program is not recognizing your username, or you see a message that says "Your Username is not active at this location," it is because you are not at the correct website. Please ensure you are at online.taxslayerpro.com. If you use a branded site, you will want to make sure you are at the correct branded URL.
